EPT Season #4: PokerStars Caribbean Adventure $7,800 No-Limit Hold'em

The first major poker tournament of 2008 drew a huge field. Over 1,100 players journeyed to the Bahamas for the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. This could be a sign that poker is not done growing. Last year, this tournament had just 937 players.
Frenchman Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier won this year's event and a cool $2,000,000. Hafiz Khan, an internet qualifier with no previous major tournament cashes, finished second which paid $1,094,000. 2007's CardPlayer Player of the Year, David Pham, got 2008 off to an impressive start by finishing 4th.
The next European Poker Tour event is in Dortmund, Germany at the end of this month.
