Everest Poker Launches WSOP Satellites
Promotions, 2008-03-21, by Ozone
As we previously reported, Everest Poker reached an agreement with Harrah's Entertainment for the exclusive right to advertise on the felt of WSOP tables. With that right secured, the site has now launched its satellites for this summer's festivities.
There are three weekly direct qualifiers being held at Everest Poker. On Mondays, a $500+$30 satellite will award winners with a $13,000 WSOP Main Event package. This package includes buy-in to the Main Event as well as $3,000 for traveling expenses. There are two daily qualifiers for this satellite, a $30+$3 rebuy event and a $100+$9 freezeout.
On Wednesdays, players can take their shot at winning a package valued at $7,500. This package entitles winners to a seat in any $5,000 buy-in WSOP event of their choice. Two qualifiers to this satellite are priced at $5+$.50 (with rebuys) and $22+$2.
Every Friday, a $3,500 package is up for grabs. Winners of these tournaments earn the right to participate in any $1,500 buy-in event of their choosing. Small stakes players will enjoy the $3+$.30 rebuy and $11+$1 freezeout qualifiers to this satellite.
All of the aforementioned action is running now at Everest Poker.
